Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is an academic programme which integrates the field of computer Engineering and Computer Science. Our department of Computer Science was rooted in the year 2001 and is one of the earliest Computer Science & Engineering departments in the district. It has well experienced faculties with rich knowledge in industry and research and dedicated students working towards their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. In addition, the department actively participates in off-campus selection programs too.
The department attracts high quality students from all over central India and has an impressive placement record. Many of the graduates have joined some of the best institutions of higher learning around the world, whereas others have preferred to gain a few years of work experience before deciding their next course of action. Institution aims not only to impart effective education and improve the quality of teaching-learning process but also works for enhancement of the personality of students.
Our strength is our strong entrepreneurial culture. Many of our students have successfully created entrepreneurial ventures and some of them have gone fully commercial within a very short span of time. Some others have created virtual organizations to keep the costs low and later moved into the regular business models.
- Currently, we are carefully reviewing the impact of consequent changes with a view to make our programs even more efficient, effective and elite.
- The Department has always been on a high growth path and is keeping pace with the current technological trend.
- Our Department of Computer Science & Engineering is fully equipped to meet the dynamic challenges by playing a key catalyst in shaping the Education of the 21st century by providing unique educational as well as research opportunities in the forefront of Computer Engineering and it’s applications.
- The curriculum has been designed to give flexibility to the students to prepare for advanced specializations. On-campus facilities provided to students for computer system designing, implementation and usage allows students to explore various options through a wide variety of research and internship options.
