The Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering (ET&T) Department has a rich tradition in academic and research. The research interests of the faculty members of the department encompass the wide area of applied and fundamental aspects of Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering. Collaboration in between the research groups of the department and with other departments is also in a practice. Electronics and Communication is the largest and fastest growing field of engineering that is indispensable in every industry across the globe. This industry helps us to make our lives easier and enjoyable by covering a wide range of applications such as Television transmission, radio, Mobile communication, Computers etc. It aims to create specialists to design, fabricate, produce, test and supervise the manufacture of complex products and systems i.e. electronic equipment and components for a number of industries including hospitals, computer industry, electronic data processing systems for communication, defense etc.
The course encourage students to explore new solutions to the practical problems affecting our daily lives and they work withprogramming the microprocessors, hand on experience on fiber optics communication system, insight on fundamental of television, radio etc. View all the on-campus facilities which help students to nurture their skills for the professional growth for themself and the society.
Electronics has a vast role in improving productivity in industries like oil and natural gas, Non-conventional energy resources, agriculture and so many other important sectors of economy. In iron and steel industries , petroleum and chemical industries the electronic devices direct, control and test production processes. Health care industry largely depends on electronic instruments to perform chemical tests and to check body functions. The safety in transportation, factories, mines and in homes rely heavily on electronics. Indian Engineering services, BSNL, MTNL, HAL, BHEL, SAIL, Airport authority of India, SAIL, Railways etc. are some of the top notch recruiters in this area.
